Acupuncture reduces weight mainly by stimulating the acupoints of the human body, to promote the body’s metabolism and regulating the functions of the body’s organs to achieve effective weight loss.
Slimming acupuncture can:

Stimulating certain acupoints in slimming acupuncture helps in releasing of serotonin – a mood-boosting chemical that has been linked to lowering the body appetite. Serotonin can prolong the emptying time of the stomach and suppress or even decrease the hyperactive appetite to tamp down your hunger. On the other hand, it can also improve intestinal function and strengthen the intestinal peristalsis to enhance the excretion effect in patient with constipation.

Its can increase the rate of metabolism of the body in glucose transformation and fat burning, thereby achieving the goal of weight loss. In addition, acupuncture can condition the metabolic disorders such as diabetes, hyperlipidemia in obese patients.
(3) Improve the function of the endocrine system
A lot of obesity occurs in the stages of puberty, postpartum, and menopause for women. These stages are periods when endocrine changes in a very drastic way. The frequency and number of treatments for slimming acupuncture:
Acupuncture to lose weight is a gradual process. At least two to three sessions per week for the first 6 to 8 weeks is recommended in order to achieve the desired results.
